Job summary

Hayley Dexis is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver at our Andover branch. You’ll start the day loading the van, preparing delivery notes, and then complete multiple deliveries to customers in the surrounding Andover area.

The role offers Friday work with 8 hours per week, combining independence on the road with a supportive team environment. Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, prior delivery experience, good local knowledge, and a solid focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Previous delivery driver experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Good level of physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Load the company van at the branch and prepare the delivery notes.
• Complete timely and accurate deliveries to customers around Andover.
• Use local knowledge to plan efficient routes and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain safe driving practices and the vehicle’s presentation.

About the Delivery Driver role:

In this varied role you’ll find yourself starting the day at our branch in Andover, loading the company van with various deliveries as well as preparing the delivery notes to go with them. You’ll then use your local knowledge to complete several timely and accurate deliveries to various customers in the areas surrounding Andover. You’ll play a key part in keeping things moving smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road.

What we’re looking for in our Delivery Driver:

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in a delivery driver role
• A good knowledge of the local, geographical area
• A keen eye for health & safety awareness
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry.
• Good level of physical fitness
