Job summary

ATA Sameday is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver based at the Basingstoke depot to complete regular routes across Newbury, Portsmouth, Bracknell and Farnborough. You will load your van, deliver parcels to homes and businesses, and ensure on-time service using our delivery app.

Expect a daily pay rate starting at £216 and rising to £222 from 21 November 2026, plus mileage at 23p per mile. Flexible start times and consistent weekly payments support a steady schedule.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Clean DBS check.
• Android smartphone compatible with our delivery app.
• Punctual, reliable and customer-focused attitude.

The Role

Based at our depot in Basingstoke, you’ll load your van before heading out to complete regular delivery routes covering areas including Newbury, Portsmouth, Bracknell and Farnborough.

You’ll deliver parcels to residential customers and commercial premises, helping to ensure every delivery runs smoothly and on time. As the friendly face at customers’ doors, you’ll play an important part in providing a reliable delivery service.

The process is straightforward, with an easy-to-use delivery app to guide you throughout your day. You’ll also be delivering the recognisable green HelloFresh boxes, making your daily deliveries easy to identify.

Please note: All loading takes place at our Basingstoke depot, so you’ll need to travel to Basingstoke to start your working day before heading out on your assigned route.

Pay & Mileage

• £216 per day (VAT included), increasing to £222 per day (VAT included) from 21st November 2026
• 23p per business mile
• Mileage paid from the depot and throughout your delivery route
• No hidden gaps or unpaid travel during the working route
• Payment is made two weeks after the work has been completed
• Payments then continue weekly, maintaining a two-week delay between work completed and payment received

Shift Details

• Depot location: Basingstoke
• Regular delivery areas: Newbury, Portsmouth, Bracknell and Farnborough
• Working days: Saturday to Wednesday
• Days off: Thursday and Friday
• Up to 5 days per week
• Wave times: Flexible start times between 06:30 and 09:00
• Routes are regular, although flexibility is important to meet operational requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
• At least 2 years of driving experience
• Clean DBS check
• Android smartphone compatible with our delivery app
• Punctual, reliable and customer-focused attitude
• Own a Long Wheelbase (LWB) van
