Job summary

Hayley Dexis is recruiting a part-time Delivery Driver for our Andover branch. You will start the day by loading the company van, preparing delivery notes, and making several timely deliveries to customers in the surrounding area.

The role offers independence and variety on the road, with 8 hours per week every Friday. We’re seeking someone with a full UK driving licence, prior delivery experience, strong local knowledge, excellent customer service, and a good focus on health and safety.

Responsibilities

We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Delivery Driver to support the busy team on a part time basis at our branch in Andover.

About the Delivery Driver role:

In this varied role you’ll find yourself starting the day at our branch in Andover, loading the company van with various deliveries as well as preparing the delivery notes to go with them. You’ll then use your local knowledge to complete several timely and accurate deliveries to various customers in the areas surrounding Andover. You’ll play a key part in keeping things moving smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road.

We’re looking for someone with a good mix of previous driving experience as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. This is a part time, working 8 hours per day every Friday, with the opportunity of overtime to cover holidays/sickness.

What we’re looking for in our Delivery Driver:

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in a delivery driver role
• A good knowledge of the local, geographical area
• A keen eye for health & safety awareness
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry.
• Good level of physical fitness
