Job summary

ATA LTD in the UK is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join ATA Sameday based at our Basingstoke depot.

You’ll load a Long Wheelbase van and complete regular routes to Newbury, Portsmouth, Bracknell and Farnborough, delivering parcels to homes and businesses with a focus on timeliness.

The role offers a daily pay rate of £216–£222 (VAT included) with mileage paid at 23p per mile; working Sat-Wed, 06:30–09:00 start times, and a DBS check requirement.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
• At least 2 years of driving experience
• Clean DBS check
• Android smartphone compatible with our delivery app
• Punctual, reliable and customer-focused attitude
• Own a Long Wheelbase (LWB) van

The Role

Based at our depot in Basingstoke, you’ll load your van before heading out to complete regular delivery routes covering areas including Newbury, Portsmouth, Bracknell and Farnborough.

You’ll deliver parcels to residential customers and commercial premises, helping to ensure every delivery runs smoothly and on time. As the friendly face at customers’ doors, you’ll play an important part in providing a reliable delivery service.

The process is straightforward, with an easy-to-use delivery app to guide you throughout your day. You’ll also be delivering the recognisable green HelloFresh boxes, making your daily deliveries easy to identify.

Please note: All loading takes place at our Basingstoke depot, so you’ll need to travel to Basingstoke to start your working day before heading out on your assigned route.

Pay & Mileage

• £216 per day (VAT included), increasing to £222 per day (VAT included) from 21st November 2026
• 23p per business mile
• Mileage paid from the depot and throughout your delivery route
• No hidden gaps or unpaid travel during the working route
• Payment is made two weeks after the work has been completed
• Payments then continue weekly, maintaining a two-week delay between work completed and payment received

Shift Details

• Depot location: Basingstoke
• Regular delivery areas: Newbury, Portsmouth, Bracknell and Farnborough
• Working days: Saturday to Wednesday
• Days off: Thursday and Friday
• Up to 5 days per week
• Wave times: Flexible start times between 06:30 and 09:00
• Routes are regular, although flexibility is important to meet operational requirements

What We’re Looking For
