Job summary

IKEA Leeds is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our growing team. You will ensure on-time deliveries and provide high levels of service, completing two weeks of IKEA training and one week shadowing before active duties.

The role runs a 39-hour week with a 4-on/2-off pattern, shifts 06:30–16:30, and involves lifting. We offer a 28,500 GBP annual salary, with potential flexibility discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 24 months.
• Comfortable using GPS/digital mapping for planning deliveries.
• Motivated to deliver excellent customer experience and handle unexpected issues.
• Keen eye for detail and able to follow safety checks.
• Willingness to support teammates to complete deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle safety checks and take appropriate action.
• Safely load and unload goods for up to three daily deliveries.
• Deliver goods to customers’ homes and place them in the correct room.
• Manage returns in line with IKEA policy.
• Use data to improve routing and provide feedback.
