Job summary

IKEA Leeds is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our growing team and help us deliver a high level of service to customers. You will be physically fit, reliable, and comfortable with an active role requiring regular lifting and safe driving practices.

The role includes two weeks of IKEA training, one week of shadowing, and a rolling 4-on/2-off shift pattern. A full UK driving licence is required, with GPS navigation experience welcomed. Salary is £28,500 per year and 39 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 24 months.
• Comfortable using GPS and digital mapping systems to plan and navigate delivery routes.
• Motivated to deliver a great customer experience and handle unexpected problems.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle safety checks and take appropriate action.
• Load and unload goods for up to three delivery runs per day and prepare routes.
• Deliver goods to customers’ homes and bring items into a nominated room.
• Manage returns and ensure compliance with returns policy.
