Job summary

IKEA Leeds is seeking Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. You will be physically fit, motivated, and comfortable with regular lifting, delivering on‑time while providing high service. Training includes two weeks of IKEA training and one week shadowing before driving duties.

We offer a start date of 18th October 2026, a salary of £28,500 per annum, and a rolling 4-on/2-off shift pattern with weekend work. Benefits include a discount, life assurance, enhanced pension, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 24 months.
• Comfort using GPS and digital mapping systems to plan routes.
• Motivated to deliver a great customer experience.
• Good understanding of dynamic risk assessments and health & safety.
• Attentive to vehicle checks; training will be provided.
• Willing to support the team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle safety checks and take appropriate action.
• Safely load and unload goods for up to three delivery runs per day.
• Deliver to customers' homes and navigate to routes with risk assessments.
• Manage returns in line with IKEA policy.
• Use data to improve routing and provide constructive feedback.
