Job summary

Angard Recruitment is assisting Royal Mail with flexible Post Person with Driving roles. You’ll deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving a Royal Mail van and sometimes delivering on foot, come rain or shine.

You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, providing exceptional service. Physical fitness and flexibility are essential; expect to walk up to 20,000 steps a day, handle mailbags up to 16 kg, and adapt to changing shifts at short notice.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community.
• Drive Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items per business standards.
• Provide excellent customer service as the face of Royal Mail.
• Pass a driving assessment before starting.
