Job summary

Angard Recruitment is recruiting for Royal Mail delivery roles. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine, driving a Royal Mail van and occasionally delivering on foot.

Shifts vary, with day, dawn, early, evening, late and night options paying £13.69–£16.44 per hour. You’ll need a full UK driving licence (max six penalty points) and be physically fit to walk long distances while handling mailbags.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route while remaining active outdoors.
• Safely deliver all items and handle election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) per standards.
