Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers in the UK. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van on your round, deliver letters and parcels come rain or shine, and be the face of the service in your community.

Shifts vary; you’ll walk up to 20,000 steps daily, handle mailbags up to 16kg, and pass a driving assessment on start. Angard staffing will communicate pay rates and may offer permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, on foot and by van.
• Secure delivery including election materials and items (like food/alcohol) per Royal Mail standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail in the community.
