Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring flexible delivery drivers (temporary) to join our team. You\'ll drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels in your community on a route that may include walking. The role combines outdoor activity with customer service and requires a UK driving licence and ability to lift items up to 16kg.

Shifts vary and a driving assessment will be conducted. Pay rates vary by shift, with Day/Dawn/Early/Eve/Late/Night shifts paying £13.69–£16.44 per hour.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and lift up to 16kg.
• Flexible, team-oriented attitude to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community on your Royal Mail round.
• Drive the Royal Mail van, walk routes on foot, and lift mailbags up to 16kg.
• Provide excellent service in all weather and follow safety standards.
