Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible delivery drivers for Folkestone. You will drive a Royal Mail van around your area and deliver letters and parcels, with occasional walking to complete routes.

This role requires a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points, good physical fitness to walk 20,000 steps a day, and the ability to work varying shifts. This is a temporary role with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by driving and on-foot routes.
• Deliver items safely and handle election materials as required.
• Provide friendly, reliable service as the face of Royal Mail in the community.
