Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Delivery Drivers to join the Wrexham Delivery Office on a temporary basis. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels across your round, with shifts that start early and require physical activity.

A full manual UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) is required, along with the ability to walk long distances and adapt to changing shift patterns. Passing a driving assessment is part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your round, face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive the delivery van and complete parts of the route on foot, with attention to safety and service standards.
• Handle election materials and certain items (e.g. food/alcohol) per Royal Mail business rules.
