Plumb Centre in Perth is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate a 3.5T van, delivering plumbing and heating products to customers. The role supports trade counter service, including identifying customer needs and making recommendations.

The position is fixed term (with potential extension) and is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, and involves assisting in the warehouse when not delivering. UK manual licence required.

Qualifications

• Previous 3.5T van and multidrop driving experience preferred.
• Able to assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to customers.
• Assist customers at the trade counter with enquiries and recommendations.
• Carry out vehicle checks, loading/unloading, and manual handling of heavy items.
• Support in the warehouse with stock checks and order picking when available.

As a **3.5T Delivery Driver** based in **Perth** you’ll be responsible for:* Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customer* Assisting customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements, providing product recommendations and dealing with customer enquiries* Carrying out vehicle checks, loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators toilets and sinks* Assisting in the warehouse when back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying This is a fixed term (with possibility for extension) position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30am - 4:30pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8am-12pm , paid as overtime. **And here’s what we’d like you to have:*** Previous 3.5T van and multidrop driving is preferred* To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch* Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential **We look forward to receiving your application!**
