Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited, via Plumb Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a Delivery Driver 3.5t. You will deliver boilers and radiators to customer and building sites, completing 5–10 drops daily around Stoke-on-Trent, with manual handling and customer service excellence.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with benefits including annual leave, pension, potential bonuses, enhanced maternity/adoption leave, and healthcare access.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence required.
• 3.5T van and multidrop driving experience preferred.
• Team player willing to assist in the warehouse to ensure smooth branch operation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver boilers and radiators to customer sites and building sites around Stoke-on-Trent.
• Complete 5–10 drops per day with loading and unloading of items.
• Engage with customers on delivery sites and provide exceptional service.

As a Delivery Driver 3.5t based in Stoke-on-Trent (ST6 5FD) you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering various items such as boilers and radiators to our customers sites and building sites.
• You will complete anything from 5 -10 drops a day around Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Building relationships with our customers when delivering to sites and providing exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 08:00am - 17:00pm with no weekend work required.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Previous 3.5T van and multidrop driving is preferred
• To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential
