Job summary

Plumb Centre in Glasgow is hiring a Part-Time Delivery Driver (3.5t) for 20 hours a week, mornings. You’ll deliver plumbing and heating supplies locally, build good relationships with customers, and help in the warehouse when not on the road.

The role offers a starting salary of £13,347 plus bonus and benefits, with branches open Mon–Sat (Saturday mornings). A full clean UK driving licence is required, and being a team player is essential.

Qualifications

• A full clean UK Driving Licence.
• Previous multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential.
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area.
• Build strong relationships with our customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go.
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling.
• Support with warehouse duties when you’re back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks.

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday (Sat. mornings only)

This vacancy is for 20 hours (4 hrs/day), Mornings.

Working pattern will be discussed at interview stage.

As a Part Time Delivery Driver 3.5t joining our team in Glasgow you will:

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area
• Build strong relationships with our customers
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling
• Support with warehouse duties when you’re back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks
