Job summary

Pipe and Climate Centre, a part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Delivery Driver 18t based in Glasgow. You will drive a 7.5t or 18t vehicle, deliver items to customers, and provide excellent service on building sites across Glasgow and surrounding areas.

This full-time role runs 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. Applicants must hold a Class 1 licence, CPC card and Digital Tachograph Card; warehouse experience and multi-drop driving are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence required.
• CPC card required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous warehouse experience beneficial though not essential.
• Previous multi-drop driving experience with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5t OR 18t vehicle throughout the day, delivering items to customers.
• Loading the vehicle ready for the day.
• Multi-drop deliveries to building sites across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Paisley, Ayrshire and surrounding areas.
• Providing exceptional customer service when interacting with customers on building sites.
• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and tidying.

As a Delivery Driver 18t based in Glasgow, youll be responsible for:

• Driving a 7.5t OR 18t vehicle throughout the day, delivering items to our customers.
• Loading the vehicle ready for the day.
• Being involved in multi-drop deliveries, to our customers building sites and covering Glasgow, Edinburgh, Paisley, Ayrshire and surrounding areas.
• Providing exceptional customer service when interacting with our customers on their building sites.
• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week working Monday - Friday 07:30am - 16:30pm. No Weekend work required.
