Job summary

Pipe and Climate Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a Delivery Driver 18t based in Glasgow. You will drive 18t/7.5t vehicles, make multi-drop deliveries to customer sites, and support warehouse tasks if needed. The role runs 40 hours per week from 07:30 to 16:30, with no weekend work.

Applicants should hold a Class 1 licence, CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card. Warehouse experience is a plus, and a can-do attitude is essential for positive customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence required.
• CPC card required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not essential.
• Previous multi drop driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5t or 18t vehicle to deliver items to customers.
• Load the vehicle and prepare for the day.
• Undertake multi-drop deliveries across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Paisley and surrounding areas.
• Provide excellent customer service on site deliveries.
• Assist in warehouse tasks when not on deliveries (unloading, picking/packing, stock checks).

As a Delivery Driver 18t based in Glasgow, you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 7.5t OR 18t vehicle throughout the day, delivering items to our customers.
• Loading the vehicle ready for the day.
• Being involved in multi-drop deliveries, to our customers building sites and covering Glasgow, Edinburgh, Paisley, Ayrshire and surrounding areas.
• Providing exceptional customer service when interacting with our customers on their building sites.
• Assisting in the warehouse if back from deliveries early with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general tidying.

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week working Monday - Friday 07:30am - 16:30pm. No Weekend work required.
