Job summary

Royal Mail in Norwich is seeking a Postie to deliver letters and parcels on a rotating shift, with some weekends. You will be active, meeting customers and supporting the community while delivering in all weather.

Role includes driving a Royal Mail van daily, walking long distances, and working outdoors with a hands-on, customer-focused approach. Full training and a uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand. You'll be required to work Sundays from 09:00 to 17:00.
