Job summary

Wild Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Delivery Driver for a busy distribution centre in Crawley. The position runs 8am–6pm, Monday to Friday, as a temporary role for the Christmas period.

Responsibilities include loading, safety checks, and delivering 40–60 parcels daily using a 3.5t van with a pre-planned route. DBS check and driving assessment are required before start.

Qualifications

• You must have a clean UK driving licence (6 points or less will be considered).
• Able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.
• Experience driving a 3.5t vehicle.
• Must have held your UK driving licence for a minimum of 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Load and perform safety checks on your vehicle at start of day.
• Collect and deliver parcels in Crawley/Gatwick area, delivering 40–60 parcels per day.
• Drive a 3.5t van using a pre-routed navigation system.

Wild Recruitment are seeking Delivery Drivers to work for a busy distribution centre in the Crawley area.

Hours are between 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday

This Delivery Driver role is Temporary to cover the busy Christmas period

What you will get up to as a Delivery Driver:

• You’ll start your day loading and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle
• Once your vehicle is loaded, you'll be busy collecting and delivering parcels in specific geographical areas in and around Crawley/Gatwick, delivering in excess of 40-60 parcels per day.
• Driving a 3.5t long wheel based van and using a pre routed navigation system to complete your drops

What we need from you for this Delivery Driver role:

• A clean full UK driving license is essential! (6 points or less will be considered).
• It is important that you're able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg
• Previous experience driving a 3.5t vehicle
• You must have held your UK driving licence for a minimum of 1 year for this role

A DBS check will need to be carried out before you can start the role.

You will be required to attend and pass a driving assessment prior your start date.
