Job summary

Pertemps Maidstone are seeking experienced Multi-Drop Van Delivery Drivers for an Aylesford role during the Christmas peak. Starting 2 November 2026, with potential for ongoing or temp-to-perm placement after peak season.

Location: Aylesford, Kent. Pay £14.25 per hour with overtime up to £21.38. Shift pattern includes Mon-Sat or Tue-Sat; typical hours listed below.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Experience as a Multi-Drop/Parcel/Van driver preferred.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry parcels.
• Able to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• DBS check and 5-year employment history check required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses.
• Complete approximately 60-70 multi-drop deliveries per day.
• Load and organise parcels within the vehicle before leaving the depot.
• Follow planned delivery routes while maintaining schedules.
• Use handheld scanners to update delivery statuses.
• Obtain proof of delivery and customer signatures where required.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Multi-Drop Van Delivery Driver (3.5T) - Aylesford, Kent - Christmas Peak Drivers Required - Starting 2nd November 2026

Are you an experienced Multi-Drop Courier Driver looking for work during the busy Christmas period, with the opportunity to secure a long-term driving role?

We are recruiting 3.5T Multi-Drop Van Delivery Drivers for our client based in Aylesford, Kent. These roles will start on 2nd November 2026 and continue through to Christmas. Successful and reliable drivers will have the opportunity to remain with the business on an ongoing or temp-to-perm basis after the peak season.

Location: Aylesford, Kent. Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour. Overtime Rate: up to £21.38 per hour. Days: Monday to Saturday or Tuesday to Saturday.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:30/18:00
• Saturday: 07:30 - 16:00

Multi-Drop Van Delivery Driver Duties

• Deliver parcels, packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses
• Complete approximately 60-70 multi-drop deliveries per day
• Load and organise parcels within the vehicle before leaving the depot
• Follow planned delivery routes while maintaining delivery schedules
• Use handheld scanners and delivery devices to update delivery statuses
• Obtain proof of delivery and customer signatures where required

Van Delivery Driver Requirements

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Previous Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, Courier Driver, Parcel Delivery Driver or Van Driver experience preferred
