Job summary

Recruit 4 Construction Ltd in the North West is seeking a Contracts Manager who can deliver. You will manage several projects from pre-construction through to handover, leading site teams and ensuring timely decisions and accountable delivery.

Expectation includes overseeing projects between £2m–£5m, driving programmes, and maintaining safety, quality and performance while collaborating with clients, design teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale main-contracting construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction operations and programming.
• Proven ability to lead multiple project teams.
• Commercial awareness and client-facing proficiency.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing projects valued between £2 million and £5 million.
• Managing and developing Site Managers and project teams.
• Driving construction programmes and key milestones.
• Monitoring performance, cost, quality and risk.
• Leading client, design-team and subcontractor meetings.
• Resolving operational and technical issues.
• Challenging underperformance and removing delivery obstacles.
• Reviewing and improving existing processes.
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Delivering organised, professional and defect-free handovers.
