Job summary

FIRST UK is seeking a Delivery Director to lead growth and scalable delivery across our education and STEM access programmes in the UK. You will own relationships with educators, employers, government and partners, ensuring safety, quality and impact for young people, teachers and volunteers.

You will implement a regional growth framework, drive engagement with schools and MATs, and supervise a distributed delivery team to achieve ambitious participation and outcomes by 2030.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building growth and partnerships.
• Experience scaling programmes without sacrificing quality or safety.
• Confident public speaker and representative at senior forums.
• Experience opening institutional routes into schools and youth programmes.
• Led delivery functions across distributed teams with measurable standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a scalable growth architecture for the charity.
• Build regional hub growth aligned to strategic objectives.
• Oversee high-quality, safe, and replicable delivery across programmes.
• Represent FIRST UK with credibility to education, industry, funders and policy stakeholders.
• Lead and develop teams through growth, maintaining morale and clarity.
