About The Role And Team

We’re elevating our Delivery practice and seeking a Delivery Director to lead the way. You’ll have proven success in scaling a practice to support a £50m–£100m client portfolio, setting standards for client experience and delivery excellence, and driving outstanding outcomes.

You are an experienced delivery leader, skilled in team design, capability mapping, hands-on management, and servant leadership. You have a strong point of view on delivery methodologies, both agile and traditional, and will shape our delivery framework based on your consultancy experience. You enjoy engaging with clients, understanding their business, nurturing C-suite relationships, challenging opinions, providing strategic guidance, and solving complex problems. You have delivered large, enterprise-scale programs and are a natural leader and coach.

You collaborate well, partnering with our commercial team and other directors to develop our client experience strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Defining our delivery strategy, setting the vision, and building the team to meet current and future needs.
• Supporting multiple complex, scaled client engagements with your delivery expertise.
• Driving the delivery of our framework, setting standards for quality across different engagement scales.
• Coaching delivery principals and managers.
• Removing blockers and managing client escalations to ensure smooth delivery.
• Identifying risks, developing solutions, and supporting their implementation.
• Supporting pre-sales activities like proposals, RFPs, pitches, SOWs, and team shaping.
• Modeling a delivery-focused, outcome-oriented approach, emphasizing end goals and driving predictability through metrics.
• Acting as an Agile coach and mentor internally and externally to enhance our delivery capabilities.

We’d Love To Talk To You If You

• Are a seasoned Delivery Director with experience managing a £50+m portfolio across sectors.
• Have extensive consultancy experience.
• Are skilled at enabling cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
• Have large program management experience (multi-million programs).
• Proven experience applying modern agile methods in fast-paced environments.

This is a hybrid role, requiring proximity to our hubs in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, or London, with flexibility to travel to client sites and regional offices. We trust you to manage your schedule, balancing face-to-face, remote work, and travel.
