Job summary

poltronesofà is hiring a Delivery Crew to support the Distribution team in Bridgend Distribution Centre. You will help load, unload and deliver furniture to customers' homes and assist the Delivery Driver with scheduling.

Strong communicational and teamwork skills are valued, along with a willingness to learn and follow processes. The role involves physical work and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment is desirable.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Carefully deliver and install furniture in customers' homes.
• Support the Delivery Driver with the delivery schedule and multiple drops daily.
• Load and unload furniture with the distribution centre team.
• Provide excellent service and seek customer feedback.
• Ensure team safety with quality checks; heavy lifting is involved.
• Work 46 hours over 4 days; Sundays off.

What’s the opportunity?

You’ll support the Delivery Driver in loading and unloading our furniture and deliver it into our customer’s homes.

Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.

What does the role involve?

• Carefully deliver and install furniture in customers’ homes
• Support the Delivery Driver with making sure the delivery schedule is followed. You’d be making multiple drops daily.
• Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
• Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
• Making sure the team is safe by carrying out quality checks
• Heavy lifting
• Work 46 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off
