Job summary

Smiths News is seeking self-employed delivery contractors for the Newcastle area. Early morning shifts (03:00 am – 09:00 am), 7 days a week, with fixed routes and weekly pay. This role offers flexibility to manage your own schedule and grow through multi-route opportunities.

Earn up to £34k per year with a £1k start-up payment paid over 3 months, plus full onboarding. Ideal for drivers with a strong work ethic and drive for a balance between income and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving license.
• Access to a 3.5t van.

Responsibilities

• Deliver newspapers and magazines to 20–30 customers per day.
• Complete a fixed route daily.
• Pack newspapers for your route.
• Collect returned newspapers, magazines and clean recycling bags.
• Scan newspapers and returned items on depot return.

Key Services

• Warehouse work: Packing newspapers for your route
