Job summary

Ottolenghi Bicester Village is seeking a supervisory retail role to lead daily service, mentor team members, and ensure high standards across deli displays and shop floors. You will handle customer queries, oversee stock and cash handling, and support the Shop Manager with admin tasks.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in supervisory retail/hospitality, a passion for food and customer service, and strong organizational and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or senior retail/hospitality experience (1+ years).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team during service, ensuring standards are met.
• Train and support team members, providing guidance and feedback.
• Manage daily operations including opening/closing, stock replenishment, and cash handling.
• Ensure product displays, deli counters, and the shop floor are maintained to a high standard.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and effectively.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Support the Shop Manager with admin, reporting, and operational planning.
