Job summary

Allianz Commercial invites applications for a Delegated Underwriting Expert in London. You will contribute to governance of delegated underwriting authority, manage interfaces with internal teams and external partners, and drive improvement across the lifecycle from onboarding to renewal and exit.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and governance skills, with a hybrid working model and a compensation package including bonus and pension.

Qualifications

• Analytical, able to review reports, extract issues and assess importance.
• Assertive, able to challenge stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new and renewal binders for strategic relationships are assessed and approved per the approval process.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to handle mid-term change requests per Governance needs.
• Notify breaches from Distribind and manage queries arising from oversight.
• Support the Delegated Governance team to keep procedures and systems updated and compliant with regulations.
• Conduct ad-hoc project work in line with team strategy and support stakeholders.
• Assist in other activities to comply with AGCS procedures and policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders.
