Job summary

Chaucer Syndicates Ltd. is seeking a Delegated Authority Underwriting Manager to lead the DA CoE and oversee relationships with MGAs, binders, lineslips and consortiums. You will drive DA strategy, compliance, governance, and performance reviews while engaging with the DA Oversight team and senior management.

You will build a robust DA framework, monitor DA data/MI, and participate in DAUC and related groups. Strong ACII, MGA experience, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across groups and senior leaders.
• Experience with delegated authority, MGAs, binders or Lloyd's structures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Delegated Authority framework across the Group, including DA relationships with MGAs and binders.
• Design, build and implement underwriting DA framework and governance across all lines of business.
• Support onboarding of DA business, collaborating with underwriters and the DA Oversight team.
