Job summary

eNL in Birmingham is seeking a Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor to join the Major Injury & Casualty team. The role handles multi-track RTA and defendant PI claims, with flexible remote working.

Candidates with at least 2 years' PQE and experience in defendant litigation, ideally higher-value claims, are encouraged to apply. The team serves major insurers and household-name clients.

Qualifications

• Solicitors with at least 2 years' PQE and multi-track litigation experience.
• Experience in defendant RTA or personal injury work.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with a commercial approach to litigation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and build effective client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of multi-track RTA and defendant personal injury claims.
• Drafting pleadings, preparing reports and advising clients on litigation strategy.
• Investigating liability and gathering relevant evidence.
• Instructing experts and considering complex medical causation issues.
• Attending court hearings and managing cases in line with court deadlines and directions.
• Working closely with clients and colleagues to ensure claims are handled commercially and effectively.
