Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Vehicle Transport Driver at Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. This full-time role focuses on moving, storing and maintaining military vehicles within a busy defence logistics site.

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence; IT skills; and ability to obtain SC security clearance. 37 hours/week, on-site work, with a benefits package including generous holiday allowance and pension.

Qualifications

• IT literacy including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles and assets safely across the site.
• Load and unload vehicles and equipment as required.
• Carry out basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil/fluids).
• Support vehicle storage operations and asset condition.
• Record and report faults with documentation and records.
