Job summary

Babcock International Group is hiring a Vehicle Transport Driver for our Ashchurch site near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. This full-time role involves moving military vehicles, basic maintenance checks, and maintaining records to support equipment readiness.

Applicants must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with a preference for C+E/H licences and may need MOD experience. SC clearance is required in due course; excellent teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Desirable: Category C+E and Category H licences.
• Desirable MHE operator certification and MoD/vehicle logistics experience.
• Knowledge of Motor Transport Safety Regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles and assets safely across the site.
• Load and unload vehicles and equipment per operations.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil/fluids).
• Support vehicle storage operations and asset condition.
• Report faults and maintain accurate records.
