Job summary

Babcock in Donnington, near Telford, is seeking a Customer Service Driver to support a military vehicle repair and maintenance operation. You will safely transport military vehicles between MOD sites, workshops and customers, contributing to operational readiness and customer delivery.

The role is full-time and on-site with a 72-hour fortnight pattern. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, an HGV Class C licence and a valid CPC; SC security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience driving and operating a range of vehicles, preferably HGVs.
• Experience with MoD A/B vehicles or similar heavy fleets.
• Knowledge of transport, vehicle safety and compliance requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive military vehicles and assets between MOD sites and workshops.
• Carry out handovers, deliveries and inspections following safety procedures.
• Assist loading/unloading while complying with transport regulations.
• Maintain records of vehicle movements and update systems.
• Report faults and safety concerns to support fleet availability.
