Job summary

Matchtech Group's client, a specialist technology organisation, seeks a Training and Requirements Specialist to translate customer needs into technically sound, deliverable training solutions across Portsmouth and other customer sites on a hybrid basis. The role supports the Defence sector with training analysis, requirements definition and through-life support.

Responsibilities include conducting training needs analysis, drafting requirements, maintaining traceability, and contributing to bids,

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to training analysis, design or delivery for technical or operational training within defence or a comparable regulated environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with confidence contributing to customer workshops.
• Understanding of training, requirements and acceptance processes, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Support discovery activities, workshops and capture of user requirements and decision evidence.
• Contribute to Training Needs Analysis and JSP 822-based processes.
• Undertake role analysis and training gap analysis, and analyze options and media.
• Support fidelity and technology analysis for simulation, XR and training solutions.
• Draft user, system and service requirements, acceptance documents and supporting project documentation.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, needs, learning outcomes and acceptance evidence.
• Support verification, validation and acceptance activities and assurance evidence.
• Contribute to training consultancy, bids, R&D and continual improvement.
