Job summary

Babcock International invites applications for its Software Engineering Graduate Programme. Starting salary from £35,000, with location choices at Bristol Hub or Ashchurch in Gloucestershire.

The two-year, structured programme provides mentorship and masterclasses, aiming to develop engineers through Chartered or Incorporated status paths. On completion, graduates transition into permanent roles within the Engineering Function with clear progression toward Senior Engineer/Developer roles.

Qualifications

• Must have or be on track to achieve a BEng, MEng, BSc, or MSc in Computer Science, Software, or Electronic & Software.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS and Security Check (SC) security clearance.
• Post may be restricted to UK nationals; eligibility depends on security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test high-performance software as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Work on diverse projects from audio consoles to submarine software systems.
• Contribute to secure, reliable, and fully integrated software solutions across platforms.
