Babcock’s Electronic and Communications Engineering graduate programme offers a two-year rotation across the Mission Technologies business in the UK. You’ll gain practical experience, with structured support, mentorship and guidance toward professional registration.

Starting salary is £35,000 with opportunities to grow as you gain skills in secure communications, while placements at sites like Bristol, Plymouth, Ashchurch, Hawthorn or Oakhanger ensure broad exposure to national defence projects.

Qualifications

• You’ll need to have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a BEng, MEng, BSc, or MSc in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Security clearance requirements include BPSS, Security Check (SC) and Developed Vetting (DV).
• For this programme you must be able to obtain and maintain these clearances.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a two-year rotation programme across our Mission Technologies business.
• Gain exposure to a broad mix of technologies and challenges.
• Develop secure communications systems and contribute to key projects.
