Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking a Systems Modelling Engineer for a 6 month contract, with options to base in Stevenage or Bristol. The role focuses on MATLAB/Simulink modelling, developing and validating algorithms, and producing auto-code from models for a defence/aerospace client.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in MATLAB/Simulink, model-based design, and RF/digital signal processing concepts, with a proven track record in model delivery and technical reporting.

• Assessing suitability of algorithms in the model
• Validating models
• Aptitude for converting an algorithm into a Simulink model
• Familiarity with Radar and Control Systems
• Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing

• Technical report writing
• Model delivery experience

Responsibilities

• Model in MATLAB and Simulink using model-based design techniques
• Produce parts of a complex model including target scenario, hardware, and processor algorithms
• Develop and implement algorithms within the model
• Produce and verify auto-code for software algorithms from the model
• Carry out performance assessments
• Validate model components against real world data and write up results
• Produce a simpler representation of the model
• Upgrade legacy models to newer MATLAB/Simulink versions
• Document model changes and create test vectors
