Job summary

Awerian, located near Cambridge, seeks a Simulation and Modelling Engineer to model and analyse complex systems using MATLAB/Simulink. You will develop physics-based models of interactions, contribute to system architecture, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust prototypes.

Experience with hardware-in-the-loop and code revision is valued, with defence experience a plus. You will join a highly capable group delivering cutting-edge defence and security technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Electronics, Physics or Mathematics with industry experience.
• Defence experience is advantageous, but candidates from all sectors will be considered.
• Strong modelling and problem-solving fundamentals required.

Responsibilities

• Model and analyse complex systems and interactions using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Build and develop mathematical models of complex systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate concepts into prototypes.
• Develop and maintain model-based architectures and verification workflows.
