Zusammenfassung

World Class Defence Organisation is seeking a Systems Performance Modelling Engineer on a 12-month contract, onsite at Stevenage or Bristol. The role requires Matlab/Simulink modelling of seeker hardware, processing and environment, with auto-code generation and performance prediction.

The position is 37 hours per week, inside IR35 (umbrella), with a 4-day week option and on-site work required. Overtime paid at time and a quarter.

Qualifikationen

Modelling for auto-coding using Matlab/Simulink.
Experience assessing algorithms within a model.
Ability to translate algorithms into Simulink models.
Familiarity with radar/control systems and DSP concepts.
RF experience is advantageous.

Aufgaben

Modelling in Matlab and Simulink using model-based design techniques.
Produce parts of a complex Seeker model including target scenario, hardware and processor algorithms.
Develop and implement algorithms within the model.
Produce and verify auto-code for software algorithms from the model.
Carry out seeker performance assessment.
Produce a simpler representation of the model for the missile model.
Upgrade legacy Seeker models to newer MATLAB/Simulink versions.
Document model changes and create test vectors.
