Job summary

Compass Group UK&I ESS Defence is recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Retail Supervisor, you will lead a frontline team, manage till operations, and uphold Food Handling & Hygiene standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Team player and can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a positive environment for the team.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Use the till, take orders and receive payments.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Place orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.
• Delegate where necessary and ensure the team is proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
