Job summary

Compass Group UK&I's ESS division is recruiting a Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a full-time basis.

This role is 35 hours per week across 5 days, with a commitment to 50.2 weeks per year. You will supervise frontline staff, manage deliveries, till operations, weekly rotas and stock orders, while upholding Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to manage till operations and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive environment.
• Being a responsible key holder and handling till/payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Placing stock orders to maintain levels.
• Ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
