Job summary

Turner & Townsend’s Defence North Risk team in Manchester seeks an experienced Project Risk Practitioner with strong Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) expertise to support major defence, nuclear, infrastructure programmes across the UK.

You will lead qualitative and quantitative risk work, drive risk management frameworks to ISO 31000 standards, collaborate with clients on site, and travel UK-wide as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in project/programme environments in Defence/Nuclear/Infrastructure/Construction.
• Ability to apply Project Risk Management principles across lifecycle.
• Experience with integrated cost and schedule risk analysis.
• Experience using risk software such as Safran Risk, ARM, PRA, or @Risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative and quantitative risk management activities for on‑site client projects.
• Develop and maintain risk management frameworks aligned to ISO 31000 across portfolios.
• Provide insightful risk analysis to support informed decision making throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical risk solutions.
