Job summary

Babcock International invites applications for a Project Procurement Specialist based at Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth. You will lead procurement across major capital projects and framework agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance and successful programme delivery.

The role requires NEC4 experience, MCIPS qualification, and the ability to obtain SC clearance. It is a full-time onsite post with diverse benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering procurement activities across capital projects and framework agreements.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts including negotiation and risk management.
• Proven supplier relationship management experience and issue resolution.
• Experience working with engineering, project management, commercial and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with procurement best practice and digital procurement systems such as Oracle ERP

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities across capital projects and infrastructure programmes.
• Establish and manage framework agreements for professional services and suppliers.
• Build supplier relationships to drive performance and value.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support risk management per NEC4.
• Monitor contract performance and support change control and governance
