Babcock International in Devonport, Plymouth, invites applications for a Bid Coordinator to join the Business Growth team. You will coordinate high-value bids and manage schedules, ensuring timely submissions for defence programmes that underpin national security and defence capability.

This full-time hybrid role requires governance knowledge, familiarity with UK MOD procurement, and strong stakeholder engagement. Security clearance is required; UK travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in bid coordination or support roles.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks and bid methodologies.
• Familiarity with UK MOD procurement processes and portals.
• Experience in complex, large-scale defence/engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate bid management plans, schedules and documentation.
• Organise bid meetings, governance reviews and stakeholder engagements.
• Manage procurement portals and timely submission of bid materials.
• Produce bid reports and track milestones and deliverables.
• Support Gate governance processes (Gates 0–6).
