Job summary

Babcock at the Devonport Royal Dockyard site seeks a Project Manager to lead delivery of critical programmes in a fast-paced environment. You will manage schedules, budgets and scope while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time outcomes.

The role requires driving performance, supporting national infrastructure, and delivering value in a defence, aerospace and engineering context.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related.
• APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent.
• NEC3 or NEC4 accreditation is desirable.
• Membership or accreditation from a relevant professional body.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of key work packages, ensuring safety, on time and within scope.
• Develop and control project schedules and reporting.
• Monitor costs, forecasts and budgets for financial performance.
• Manage internal and external suppliers to meet objectives.
• Identify and manage project risks, opportunities and issues.
