Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned Project Controls lead for UK defence programmes. You will drive scope, cost, risk and schedule integration, lead a cross-disciplinary team, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure performance is tracked against baselines.

The role requires MoD security clearance, on-site collaboration 2–3 days a week, and potential UK travel. You will mentor teams and influence delivery through robust governance and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects in defence or infrastructure.
• Experience across planning, cost, risk and reporting lifecycle.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Proactive, curious, can-do in uncertain environments.
• Strong communication and leadership in diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-discipline Project Controls teams on high value programmes.
• Define scope using exclusions, interfaces, dependencies, and establish WBS.
• Establish Performance Measurement Baseline and change control.
• Integrate supplier contract requirements and analyse supplier data.
• Ensure scope, cost, risk and schedule alignment.
• Analyse Earned Value data to inform delivery decisions.
• Support resource deployment and governance processes.
