Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Production Support Technician for our Plymouth, Devon site. You will support the Submarine Support Business Unit, ensuring production documentation, quality records, and safety compliance meet the highest standards.

Your day-to-day involves maintaining compliant documentation, coordinating inspections, and updating data across systems while collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure timely production delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, refit or maintenance environment.
• Able to produce and close out technical and quality documentation.
• Strong IT skills including data management and Windows-based systems.
• Effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Team-oriented with willingness to learn and complete training.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain compliant production and quality documentation.
• Coordinate and track non-destructive examination and welding inspection requests.
• Update and manage production and quality data in departmental systems.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with quality, inspection and engineering teams to support delivery.
