Job summary

Amey is offering a Defence Plant Operator on a 12-month contract, onsite at Claro Barracks, Ripon (HG4 2RD). You will join the Complex Facilities/Defence Equipment team to support the MOD contract and become an active Sponsored Reserve.

Training is provided for those without military experience; applicants with military reservist experience are welcomed. A long-term career path is supported with competitive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant and MHE is advantageous but training provided if you hold a Category C (HGV) licence.
• Military experience is advantageous but not required as reservist training is offered.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Keep Plant Logbook up to date reflecting military and commercial use.
• Record and track Plant and MHE qualifications, experience, competency levels, and hours of operation.
