Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Planning Optimisation Manager to join the BAE Systems site in Blackburn. You will influence planning decisions across demand, supply and forward planning and work to align manufacturing plans with logistics capability.

The role is an 18-month fixed-term contract, working Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00 (37.5 hours). A salary of up to £75,000 per annum plus benefits including a car or car allowance, pension, private medical and dental insurance, and additional staff

Qualifications

• Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement qualifications.
• Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing or other complex operational environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Represent GXO within BAE's Planning function.
• Improve alignment between manufacturing plans and logistics capability.
• Improve supplier conformance and inbound material flow.
• Enhance planning visibility and forecasting accuracy.
• Deliver planning optimisation initiatives with measurable business benefits.
