Job summary

NG Bailey Group is seeking a Defence Information Security Manager (DISM) to lead and assure security across information, personnel, physical and protective security within the Defence sector. You will ensure MOD/government compliance, manage security incidents, audits and continual improvement of security controls in line with contractual obligations and ISO/IEC 27001.

You will be the security lead for bids, mobilisations and site changes, delivering training and maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications

Experience in protective, personnel, physical or information security within Defence, government, critical infrastructure or similar.
Knowledge of personnel security, vetting processes and security clearances.
Experience developing security policies, planning audits, risk assessments and reporting findings.
Ability to analyse complex information and manage multiple actions to completion.

Responsibilities

Lead site audits and assessments across Defence sites and provide security assurance.
Coordinate security incidents, reporting, escalation and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain Defence security policies, procedures and documentation.
Support bids, contract mobilisations and new site security requirements.
Advise on clearance requirements and personnel security processes.
Act as primary day-to-day Defence Sector security contact and build stakeholder relationships.
